“Mate Song!” Australian Tourist Board Focus on Best Mate UK

Australian pop icon, Kylie Minogue, delivered a special message to the United Kingdom on Christmas Day 2019, as part of a new $15 million Tourism Australia campaign, titled Matesong, aimed at enticing more Brits Down Under.

Throughout her career so far, Kylie has reached remarkably wide success across the four CANZUK countries and she has lived in Australia and the United Kingdom. For example she reached number one in the Canadian Dance Chart, spent seven weeks as number one in the Australian Singles Chart and UK Albums Chart, including several weeks at number one. Her successful career highlights the natural affinity of the service markets between the four CANZUK countries.

This is the largest investment Tourism Australia has made in Britain in more than a decade and shows that there is a huge focus in Australia on maintaining and strengthening their people to people ties with Post-Brexit Britain.
